| Heartbeat Country Goathland otherwise known as Aidensfield is the setting for the TV seres Heartbeat. Just a short stroll away from the cottage you will see the Aidensfield Arms, Scripps Garage and other beloved sights from the series Steam Railway Goathland station is only 5 minutes walk and is one of the stops on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway line. It was also used as Hogsmeade station in Harry Potter. The line itself is 18 miles long and stretches from Pickering to Grosmont. Goathland Station is a step back in time with its period characteristics and many steam locomotives. This is a wonderful way to enjoy the sights of the North Yorkshire Moors. |
