Heartbeat Country

Goathland otherwise known as
Aidensfield is the setting for the TV seres
Heartbeat. Just a short stroll away from
the cottage you will see the Aidensfield
Arms, Scripps Garage and other beloved
sights from the series










Steam Railway

Goathland station is only 5 minutes walk
and is one of the stops on the North
Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway line. It
was also used as Hogsmeade station in
Harry Potter. The line itself is 18 miles
long and stretches from Pickering to
Grosmont and Whitby. Goathland Station
is a step back in time with its period
characteristics and many steam
locomotives. This is the traditional  way
to enjoy the sights and history of the
North Yorkshire Moors.

Whitby

This ancient port town is a wonderful place to
visit. There is a wide selection of activities,
restaurants and shops as well as beautiful
beaches and stunning views. Climb the 199
steps to the Abbey, wander around the
cobbled streets looking for treasure or hunt
for fossils on the beach. Its a perfect day out.

Sands End

A  beautiful little seaside village, stop and
have a coffee or some lunch and absorb the
relaxing atmosphere
.











Robin  Hoods Bay

This famous seaside village has so much to
offer. As well as the Restaurants, Cafés and
Shops there is Old St Stephens Church, the
Robin Hoods Bay Museum and the breath
taking view of the bay in any season.
